HOME -> ROYAL THAI POLICE -> BORDER PATROL POLICE -> COUNTER-INSURGENCY TRAINING

Counter-insurgency training is a special course given by the Border Patrol Police. It is mandatory for all new recruits into the Border Patrol and is also offered as an optional course for other members of the Royal Thai Police.

The training last for three months and is broken into two major sections, urban and jungle warfare. The urban warfare training lasts for one month. The remaining portion of the course, two months, concentrates on jungle skills including jungle warfare and survival training.
